Spaghetti Sauce and Zucchini Noodles

Zucchini noodles topped with classically seasoned ground beef and homemade tomato sauce.
Ingredients
- 1½ lbs Grassfed Ground Beef
- 1 Large Red Onion
- ½ c Red Wine
- 1 T Honey
- 1 T Grassfed Butter
- 1 T Minced Garlic
- 1 T Orégano
- 1 jar (18 oz) Crushed Tomatoes
- 1 14 oz can Diced Tomatoes (drained)
- 1 T Dried Basil
- 1 t Dried Thyme
- 4 Large Zucchini
- Salt and Pepper to Taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet heat butter
- Add onion and ground beef, brown the beef
- Add garlic, oregano, basil, diced tomato, thyme salt and pepper.
- Stir in well and cook 1-2 minutes.
- Add wine and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add crushed tomato and honey and turn heat to low for 20 minutes and cover and simmer
- Turn zucchini into noodles and steam or sauté in pan with a little olive oil or butter.
- Plate zucchini and cover with spaghetti sauce. Serve with side salad
